Stanley Street Gallery is a new gallery in the heart of Sydney, showing a diverse range of art and artist, including contemporary Jewellery.
Passion is the motivation for establishing a new gallery . Merilyn Bailey and Liza Feeney met as students in 1980 while studying at Sydney College of the Arts, majoring in Contemporary Jewellery. Together they have established a new space with a focus on Contemporary Jewellery and metal work but also including Painting, Photography Sculpture and Ceramics.
The space is a surprise, a hidden oasis where you are invited to enjoy your lunch or a coffee in the tranquil courtyard. There is a workshop attached to the gallery, this is where Merilyn , Liza and Diane Appleby make their own pieces and commissioned works.
You are invited to make an appointment outside gallery hours to either see the work or to discuss your own commissioned piece.
